Lymph Drainage Therapy
"Lymph
Drainage" must be the most unpalatable term ever coined
by massage practitioners. It sounds like some grim medieval
torture involving hoses, pointy objects, and buckets full of
icky goo.
But it isn't.
Lymph drainage is a gentle, effective technique useful in
relieving pain and stiffness caused by swollen tissue.

What Lymph Drainage Can Do for You
Lymph Drainage Therapy
redistributes excess body fluids. The
other massage modalities I offer do improve circulation, but
they are primarily used to treat muscles, scar tissue, tendons,
and ligaments. We might use lymph drainage therapy to:
- Drain excess fluid from the space around
your lungs to allow deeper breathing; if you suffer from
asthma, you may wish to try it.
- Relieve puffiness around eyes, improve
facial skin tone.
- Relieve swelling from excess fluid in
limbs.
- Drain fluid from tissue in and around
prostate, to reduce the
number of nighttime bathroom trips and reduce "dribbling."
This is not to be confused with milking the prostate, which
should be done by your urologist.
-
Relieve soreness
in breasts and improve their shape and firmness.
- Help to remove cellular waste products
and toxins from tender points for
Fibromyalgia patients. Lymph Drainage Therapy is so
gentle that FMS sufferers can easily tolerate the therapy.
- Detoxify your body after an illness.
Lymph Drainage can help flush our your leftover toxins,
helping you to feel better faster.
- Reduce swelling after an injury without
causing additional trauma to the injured tissue.
- Relieve chronic swelling due to surgical
removal of lymph nodes.
- Improve energy levels and assist your
immune system by flushing wastes and toxins.

therapy, see the page one article in the

Tranquility Times newsletter.
Some people swear by lymph drainage for all
your ills. Personally, I like to reserve it for specific
problems.
When working with internal organs lymph drainage can cause some
discomfort, but for the most part it is a light, gentle,
relaxing technique that fits the Tranquility Time style. Why not
give it a try? Call 214-395-8000
for your appointment.
You
deserve it!
